Bike Tours - 2025 Season
I will lead three bike tours in Cuba between January and March 2025. I hope you can join us for the fun.
The next season will be based in Havana/Varadero providing two options for arriving in Cuba. Tour registration is open and encouraged - you can reserve a spot at no cost until Fall 2024. All tours offer e-bikes as an option.
Let's begin looking back on some photos of our recent highly successful Guantanamo Mango Tour of January 2024.
We began our tour in Holguin, then rode east to Faro de Maisi (a lighthouse at the eastern edge of Cuba), before turning back and travelling through Guantanamo, Santiago de Cuba and, the Pinares Forest. Finally, we returned to Guardalavaca to complete our loop of Eastern Cuba. The pictures below capture a small part of our fun.

What’s Happening in Cuba Right Now?
Cuba depends on tourism to obtain hard currency from developed countries to buy 80% of its food on the world market. Our tours directly support Cubans who work in the tourism industry through wages and tips from clients. Our tours also support Cuban youth cyclists as we along with our clients bring thousands of dollars of cycling equipment to the school programs in each province of the country, along with medicine and clothing.
Food for tourists has been readily available and meals at restaurants, hotels, and casas particulares (Cuban B&Bs) have been simple but tasty. We wish it was easier for Cuban Nationals to obtain their groceries in the abundance we enjoy outside this small island nation. More tourists are the biggest opportunity to help Cuba financially.
